speaking of white guys.. i would like to give out the "white guy of the year award" today.. although mike rowe did come in a close second the white guy of the year goes too...

this is the dood that did the documentarty "supersize me" and he also has a show now called "30 days" which i highly recommend to anybody wishes to expand their view of what this country actually is made up of.. this show is probably the craziest thing to hit middle america since.. i'm gonna say the craziest thing ever.. and i'm assuming that middle america actually watches this..

but surrrously, this fool isn't afraid to expose the bare truth about anything.. iono.. there's so much to write about his show.. it's just frickin CRAZY.. the latest episode gave the lowdown on the how prisons are the new cash crop.. how the whole system is just a modernized version of slavery.. i mean.. the business of prisons is exactly that... a business.. there are corporations and unions that are DEPENDING ON THE GROWING NUMBER OF PRISONS, not the growing number of schools or community centers, but depending on the expectation of the incarceration of more and more people.. and there is no federal push to make prisons a means of rehabilitation, NONE, strictly a means of punishment.. the only people pushing for these types of programs are former prisoners.. iono.. there's so much to write about it..

basically, for me.. he shows to me what middle america, and maybe even how some places closer to home actually are on a personal level... like what people are actually thinking when they say that there shouldn't be gay marriages, or that islam is the reason for 9/11, or that illegal immigrants are the problem with this country.. i mean.. it's just crazy..

just do me a tiny favor and watch an episode.. if you don't find it interesting or stimulating at all, that's fine.. but hopefully you'll like it enough to stop on that if you ever catch it again..

ps. prolly my biggest pet peave is ungratefulness, i really don't like watching mtv anymore because shows like my super sweet 16 and shit like that just show spoiled white kids (and sometimes even spoiled kids of color too! boo!) and how spoiled they are and how much rich mommy and daddy love to keep their kids spoiled and it doesn't contribute to move society in any direction other than to hate other people for being so frickin spoiled!! i'm not saying that spoiling your children every now and then is bad.. it's not 100% good, but it's not bad (i'm sure i'll spoil any children that i might have).. all i'm saying is that you don't have to broadcast that shit all over the network and rerun it like 1023941 times cuz all these people do is flaunt their wealth (and their ginormous amount of general ignorance!) to the rest of america..

and yes it's entertaining and whatnot but you really have to think what it's contributing to society.. in my opinion.. it's just degrading our society..

that being said.. you should definitely watch dirty jobs with mike rowe.. that shit is entertaining and it gives light to jobs that people have that make civilization possible...

pants on fire

there are two things that i really hated this weekend..
being bossed around by people that aren't my boss
and being lied to, straight to my face (this one is a pretty good assumption)

about my boss anyway.. even though i got electrically shocked at work and i come home with cuts and scrapes all over my hand, i just wanna say that i frickin love my job.. haha.. it's just fun making things with your hands and getting paid for it.. i mean there are sometimes when i get bootyass jobs that are just work to keep me busy, but sometimes i get jobs that are hella exciting, even semi dangerous.. working with frickin nasty ass slurry that would eat my skin to the bone.. hahaha.. makes me feel hecka cool..

shoutout to my lady/homie, apreezee, who also makes me feel really cool.. i think i should change my myspace profile to single now that i'm with her.. cuz facebook already says we're together..

shoutout to wally, who walked with me for five miles through inner richmond..

shoutout to rodkyle, who went to the faces campaign launch with us..

shoutout to adrien who was the last part of "us" that i didn't mention..
